Applies the theoretical and empirical frameworks of economics to topics such as fertility, migration (both domestic and international), investments in health and human capital, life-cycle labor supply, intergenerational transmission of economic status, the distribution of income and wealth, and the interaction of population growth with the standard of living. Prerequisite: ECON 1110 or 1130.
