Introduction to the study of abstract data types and the analysis of algorithms. Students will write Java applications using data structures such as linked lists, stacks, queues, multidimensional arrays, trees, sets, maps, and heaps. Meets: weekly for three 65-minute periods, with an additional weekly 75-minute laboratory. Prerequisite: C- or better in CSCI 9, or AP computer science and departmental approval. Offered spring semester.
