Students are expected to pursue extensively particular problems of painting both inside and outside of class and with close critical involvement of the instructor. Encourages a critical awareness of contemporary painting. Includes museum and gallery visits. Prerequisite: ART 23 or permission of instructor. Offered spring semester.
