(Formerly BI225 Psalms and Wisdom Literature) A study of the Book of Psalms in terms of its literary features and theological content. The wisdom literature of the Old Testament is considered with emphasis upon Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon (Song of Songs). Prerequisites: EN 101: English Composition and BI101: Old Testament Survey (or permission from the instructor).
