Pathways from lab-bench to marketplace are described as are the pervasive influences of the FDA, patent office, and courts. Extensive reading; emphasis on oral presentation. Primarily intended for students planning a career in biomedical industry. Not for biology concentration credit. Students MUST register for the lecture section and the conference. Enrollment limited to first year students.
