Recent feminist theory addresses identity politics and the critique of the subject; problematics of race, class and gender; the challenge of queer theory; the demand for materialist analysis. We consider these topics in light of the problematics of address. What are the forms of feminist address? How are they received or refused? Who are the subjects of contemporary feminisms?
