This course builds upon concepts and skills from previous nursing courses to assist the client to achieve optimal health in a variety of settings. Management of the client response to the perioperative experience and selected health problems are included. Psychomotor behaviors are expanded to include complex technical, expanded assessment, and critical thinking skills. Lecture/Lab Hours: Four hours lecture and nine hours laboratory per week.
