Description:
This is a work/study course designed for editors of the campus newspaper, The Matrix. Students will receive hands-on training in newspaper production and management, as well as advanced training in editing, layout and graphic design, and advertising sales. Students are required to spend a total of fifteen hours a week working under the direction of the faculty advisor. Credit may be used toward completing Area F requirements in journalism/mass communications. Lecture/Lab Hours: One hour lecture and three hours laboratory per week.
