This course is a study of major political, cultural, economic, and religious developments in Europe from 1400-1648. The course pays particular attention to the political and economic roots of Renaissance ideology, the connections between the Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation, and the cultural and artistic legacy of the Renaissance and Reformation. Lecture/Lab Hours: Three hours per week.
