Description:
Students will study applications in web-based electronic commerce systems set in a client/server environment. The course will include surveys of Internet technologies, network architectures, web development techniques, ecommerce models and software, electronic catalogs, purchase and payment systems, interfaces with business systems, marketing and promotion, and design and implementation of e-commerce systems. Lecture/Lab Hours: Three hours per week.
