Description:

In this course, students will become familiar with the school environment, working with students and parents, and collaborating with other professionals in the school setting. Students will work in P-5 classrooms assisting the teacher and P-5 students with instructional routines. Students will also attend regularly scheduled seminars on related topics. The use of technology is required. The course is aligned with state and national standards. Notes: A minimum of 8 hours per week in a (daytime) school setting is required. Lecture/Lab Hours: Three hours per week.
