Description:

In this course, students will develop an understanding of reading strategies that can be utilized in the academic content areas. Students will explore learning environments that promote effective reading and learning with a particular focus on specific skills and strategies to become more effective readers and independent learners. Use of technology is required. This course is aligned with state and national standards. Lecture/Lab Hours: Two hours per week.
