Description:
In this course, students will develop an understanding of reading acquisition based on recent research. Students will focus on learning experiences needed to acquire fundamental reading skills. The class will address theory, research, and application of specific procedures for designing and delivering reading instruction to all P-5 students, including those with exceptionalities. Use of technology is required. This course is aligned with state and national standards. Lecture/Lab Hours: Four hours per week.
