Description:
In this course, students will learn to address the individual needs of P-5 students with exceptionalities. Topics include the IEP process, assessing P-5 student needs, the continuum of placements and services, family systems, professional and ethical practices, instructional planning, and collaboration. Use of technology is required. This course addresses state and national standards. Lecture/Lab Hours: Three hours per week.
