(Pre/Corequisite: IDS 105, IDS 121) Introduces opera tional theory, systems terminology, pic installations, and programming procedures for programmable logic controls. Emphasis is placed on pic programming, connections, installations, and start-up procedures. Topics include: pic hardware and software, pic functions and terminology, introductory numbering systems, pic installation and set up, pic programming basics, relay logic instructions, timers and counters, connecting field devices to 1/0 cards, and pic safety procedures.
