Prerequisite: None . Laboratory Fee: $5 . This course is designed for students with little or no prior computer experience. No exemption exam is offered for this course. The fundamentals of computer usage, computer applications, Windows, and the Internet are introduced using hands-on experience. Special emphasis is given to beginning commands and concepts necessary to use computer programs. Students who have passed CGS 1100, CGS 1530, CTS 1101, or OST 1743 should NOT take this course.
