Emphasis on equipment, principles of operation, associated activity related to normal and abnor mal stages of sleep, placement and calibration of the fol lowing: electroencephalography (EEG), electroculography (EOG), electrocardiography (ECG), electromyography (EMG), pulse oximetry (Sp02), inductive plethy smography and airflow thermocouple electrodes.
