(Prerequisite: Program admission) Introduction to Certi fied Nurse Assistant Fundamentals, Introductory Anatomy and Physiology, Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscita tion, and Nutrition and Diet Therapy will be presented. Competency areas also included in the course are: the roles and responsibilities of the CNA in a health care setting; and emphasis on basic health care techniques, legalities, ethics, and safety.
