8.00 Credits Prerequisite(s): None Introduction to Certified Nurse Assistant Fundamentals; the role and responsibilities of the CNA in a health care setting; Emphasis on basic health care techniques, legalities, ethics and safety. This course is the equivalent of GRN 110 Patient Care Fundamentals. Students will complete 24 hours of clinical practice in addition to the scheduled classes. Some clinical hours may be during the day or weekends.
