A study of algebraic topics from a modeling perspective. This course is applications-driven by introducing functions using real-world phenomena as models. Appropriate techno- logy is used to solve problems and judge the reasonableness of results. Topics include function models that are linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and piece- wise defined.
