A simple pinhole's ability to focus light has been known since the 5th century B.C. yet contemporary photographers still use them. In class we will fabricate pinhole cameras from provided materials. Using your handmade camera, you will capture photographic images the very same day. Find out for yourself what has long fascinated practitioners about this deceptively simple image-making system.
