Further practice in intensive oral and written drills, including additional 150 Kanji, in idiomatic constructions. Composition, conversation and selected readings.Differentiating socio-linguistic features, such as honorifics, feminine and masculine styles. Cultural skills to carry out tasks. Language laboratory practice. Prerequisite: JAPN 4 or four years of high school Japanese. Five hours lecture, one hour laboratory. GE Area: Humanities
