Linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions with an emphasis on graphing and applications. These applications will cover diverse fields, including but not limited to biology, business, physical sciences, social sciences and general data analysis. Prerequisite: Satisfactory score on the mathematics placement test or MATH 220. Advisories: This course is an option for students who intend to obtain an AA degree without transferring to a four-year institution. Students may not receive credit for both MATH 105 and 103/104. Five hours lecture, one hour laboratory. GE Area: Non-GE Applicable
