Creating and editing soundtracks and audio for digital video, music video and film. Recording live sound, and integrating sound effects from a digital library. Dialogue editing and re-recording (looping), and musical sountrack creation. Synchronization of audio to video using timecode, aesthetic quality of sound and music as it relates to video content, and the production of video/audio projects using Final Cut Pro and Pro Tools . Repeatability: May be taken four times for credit. Two hours lecture, two hours lecture-laboratory, three hours laboratory. GE Area: Non-GE Applicable
