Study and performance of chamber choral music repertoire from the 15th to 20th centuries. Unaccompanied works and music with instrumental accompaniment will be included. Emphasis on the cultivation of skills needed to sing music from a variety of choral styles and historical periods. Attendance at all scheduled performances is required. Prerequisite: Enrollment subject to a standard audition administered by the college staff which demonstrates that the student's ability or technical proficiency is at a level necessary for group public performance. Repeatability: May be taken six times for credit. Three hours lecture-laboratory, two hours laboratory. GE Area: Non-GE Applicable
