Study and preparation of advanced-level materials suitable for the large jazz ensemble. Selected music written in progressive or modern styles from the '60s-'90s will be studied and performed. Attendance at all scheduled performances is mandatory. Prerequisite: Enrollment subject to audition. Repeatability: May be taken six times for credit. Three hours lecture-laboratory, two hours rehearsal and performance. GE Area: Non-GE Applicable
