Study, rehearsal and performance of contemporary vocal ensemble repertoire drawn from the popular and jazz idiom. For students with little or no experience in vocal jazz. Attendance at all performances required. Prerequisite: Enrollment subject to a standardized audition demonstrating musical ability and technical proficiency at a level satisfactory to director. Repeatability: May be taken six times for credit. Three hours lecture-laboratory, two hours laboratory. GE Area: Non-GE Applicable
