Creating and editing digital audio with Pro Tools , Reason , and Ableton Live . Using Live as a stand-alone digital audio workstation and performance instrument. Pro Tools RTAS and Audio Suite plug-in effects and how they are used in the production of complete musical arrangements in digital music. Songwriting, musical composition, and the basic elements of music (pitch, rhythm, harmony, style and form) as they relate to contemporary music. Repeatability: May be taken three times for credit. Two hours lecture, two hours lecture-laboratory, three hours laboratory. GE Area: Non-GE Applicable
