Study, rehearsal, and performance of instrumental repertoire. Designed as an advanced performance course for players of string, wind, and percussion instruments wishing to explore the vast instrumental repertoire more fully, including music from renaissance to contemporary, and non-western music. Concert performances both on and off campus. Attendance at all performances required. Prerequisite: Enrollment subject to audition. Advisory: Pass/No Pass. Repeatability: Any combination of MUSP 193, 193X, 193Y & 193Z may be taken for a maximum of 33 units. Three hours lecture-laboratory, one and one-half hours laboratory for two units of credit.
