Technical and procedural aspects of mammography including radiation protection and quality assurance aspects, breast anatomy, pathology, positioning and mass localization. Successful completion of this course entitles the student to a Certificate of Completion of a 40 hour course in mammography education. Prerequisite: R T 63 or current certification in Radiologic Technology. Repeatability: May be taken three times for credit. Two and one-half hours lecture, one and one-half hours laboratory. GE Area: Non-GE Applicable
