Introduces the basics of cable installation from the initial site survey to splicing cable and making connections. Through extensive laboratory activities, students perform the basic tasks of a cable installer. After successfully completing this course, students will possess the skills necessary to secure positions terminating, testing, troubleshooting, and installing both copper and fiber optic cabling.
