Description:

Designed for students in the health or law enforcement fields. Personality development and growth toward autonomy are the basic foundations of this life-span psychology course. Choice, change, values, purpose, and active learning are addressed as processes involved in living the examined life. Managing conflict, stress, and anxiety through openness, directness, and assertiveness is discussed, along with our needs for solitude, authentic relationships, and an awareness of the grieving process in dealing with death and other losses.
