An introduction to the requirements of acting in plays. The focus will be placed equally upon script analysis and upon developing the technical skills necessary to perform comfortably on a stage. There will be regular lectures and discussions, as well as performance assignments on pantomime, improvisation and acting technique. The fi nal grade will not be based upon talent. 3 semester hours credit. [A]
