(3.0 Units) (No prerequisite. Three lecture hours weekly.) This class introduces visual work by women of diverse ethnic and class backgrounds. A variety of media will be covered, from past art history as well as from contemporary art. Students will become aware of the social circumstances in which the work was produced.
