(4.0 Units) (No prerequisite. Three lecture and three laboratory hours weekly.) An introductory course in the theory and practice of interior design to acquaint the student with contemporary design, architecture, and furniture; color theory and application; basic residential construction methods and materials; surface treatment (walls, floors, windows, etc.); the use of drafting tools and methods; and learning to draw simple plans.
