(4.0 Units) (Prerequisite: Art 246. Three lecture and three laboratory hours weekly.) This class offers advanced instruction in painting the human figure. Individualized instruction will allow for emphasis to be placed on either portraiture or painting the entire figure. Concepts of color, design, and style will be included for the advanced student. Experimentation in new techniques and materials will be encouraged. May be taken four times for credit. (CSU/UC)
