(4.0 Units) (Prerequisite: Art 240. Three lecture and three laboratory hours weekly.) The more advanced the student, the more a strong individual approach is encouraged. Because of the varied abilities and experience found at this level, the semester assignments will be self-imposed but reviewed by the instructor on the basis of scope, technical improvement, and development of concepts. Attendance is essential for instructional, studio, and "critique"sessions. Oil, acrylic, and mixed media. May be taken four times for credit. (CSU/UC)
