(2.0 Units) (No prerequisite. One lecture and three laboratory hours weekly.) This course will be primarily concerned with advanced methods and techniques of fastening and joining metals and various metal parts as they relate to the vehicle body and frame. This will include plasma arc cutting, electric spot, migwire, gas fusion, brazing, riveting, bolting, clips, retainers, and epoxy. May be taken four times for credit. (CSU)
