(5.0 Units) (Prerequisite: Biology 110 and 110L. Three lecture and six laboratory hours weekly.) This is a course for biology majors to study the evolution of organisms from Monera to plants and animals. Emphasis will be placed on taxonomy, comparative morphology, and ecology of plants and animals. Please note that Biology 115 is not a prerequisite for Biology 116. Since Biology 115 has a Chemistry 131 prerequisite and Biology 116 does not, students may wish to register for Biology 116 and Chemistry 131 during the same semester.
