(5.0 Units) (Prerequisites: Biology 110 and 110L and Chemistry 110. Students wanting to take Chemistry 110 concurrently, please contact the instructor. Three lecture and six laboratory hours weekly.) This course involves the study of the structure and function of the human body. Emphasis will be placed on the physiochemical and homeostatic mechanisms occurring in the human body. The laboratory will introduce clinical and research techniques for studying and measuring various physiological parameters.
