(1.5 Units) (No prerequisite. Advisory: Business Office Systems 114. Two lecture and three laboratory hours weekly for eight weeks.) This Microsoft Word course develops competency in using intermediate to advanced features of Word. Students will create, format, edit, save, and print a variety of business and personaluse documents. Topics covered include formatting with styles, sharing information with other programs, working with and sharing long documents, working with graphics, creating and modifying charts, creating and using forms, and customizing Word with Auto Text and Macros. Students complete several desktop publishing projects, using the Internet to access multimedia resources. (CSU)
