(1-3 units)(Limit to Enrollment: Chemistry 131 with a grade of "B" orhigher. Prior arrangement with instructor is necessary.) A course designed to give the student an opportunity to participate in a research project, with emphasis on original work in the investigation and application of principles of chemistry. The student will prepare a formal written outline of the extent and objectives of study, conferring with instructor to determine appropriate credit and criteria for submission prior to normal registration. During their studies, students must confer weekly with the instructor who may revise terms and will determine final credit and grade. This course may be taken more than once for credit.
