(5.0 Units) (Prerequisite: Eligibility for Math 101 or completion of Math 95 or Math 95B. Note: On the FIRST day of instruction, students are required to present to the instructor confirmation that the prerequisite of the course has been met. Four lecture and three laboratory hours weekly.) This is an introductory one-semester survey of the fundamental concepts and laboratory techniques of general, organic, and biochemistry with emphasis on the processes of the human body. This course is designed to meet admission requirements for the A.S. degree in Registered Nursing and other allied health sciences.
