(1.0 Unit) (Prerequisite: Computer Science 110. Three laboratory hours weekly.) This course offers experienced students the opportunity to further explore selected application packages running on the UNIX operating system on the Science Center computer. Applications include word processing, typesetting, the writer's workbench, graphing with Plot2d, the UNIX operating system, databases and others. This is a self-paced, self-directed course. May be taken four times for credit.
