(2.0 Units) (No prerequisite. One lecture hour and three laboratory hours weekly.) This course is the study and practice of the art of physical theatre. Laban, Grotowski, Suzuki and others will be explored in this movement intensive. Actors are rarely in control of their bodies even though they are the essential tools of the actors. This class addresses the need for mastery over the physical realm in theatre. Recommended for all actors and required for all theatre majors. (CSU/UC)
