(4.0 Units) (No prerequisite. Advisory: English as a Second Language Placement Test. Completion of all 50-level ESL courses is recommended. Four lecture hours and one laboratory hour weekly.) This course is suitable for the high intermediate student with a good foundation in English grammar and writing. There is an emphasis on grammatical accuracy and on writing a logical sequence of sentences in organized paragraphs.
