(2.0 Units) (No prerequisite. One lecture hour and three laboratory hours weekly.) This course is designed to help student tutors develop their understanding of the principles of effective mathematics tutoring. Students will learn how to recognize different learning styles so that they may better help others analyze their study habits and problem solving skills. Students will learn how to communicate more effectively and to provide an encouraging tutoring environment. (CSU)
