(1.5 Units) (Prerequisite: Math 101A. Five lecture hours weekly.) A continuation of elementary algebra. Topics will include polynomials, rational expressions, exponents, roots, radicals and quadratic equations. Taken with Math 101A, this course is equivalent to Math 101. It is designed for the student who wishes to take more time to learn elementary algebra. AA/AS Math Proficiency = Math 101A + 101B
