(7.0 Units) (Prerequisites: Machine and Metals Technology 220. Three lecture and twelve laboratory hours weekly.) Advanced practice and theory with special emphasis on planning, organization, production, assembly and quality control of machine parts and mechanisms. Special problems in heat treatment and properties of materials will be addressed. Cylindrical grinding, tool and die making, incorporating advanced production processes with CAD-CAM capabilities. May be taken three times for credit. (CSU)
