(3.0 Units) (No prerequisite. Advisory: Art 112. Two and one-half lecture and two and one-half laboratory hours weekly.) This course will provide a basic knowledge of design as it applies to multimedia. Assignments involve the creation of original work using current digital tools. Design skills will be developed through projects using analysis, research, and critiques. Can also be offered in a distance learning format as a Web based course. (CSU)
